Memorial in Wereth, Belgium
During the Battle of the Bulge 11 artillerymen of the 333rd Field Artillery Battalion, 106th Infantry Division were murdered, after surrendering, in a hamlet near Wereth, Belgium by the SS on December 17, 1944. Delaware Valley Chapter # IV donated a plaque, to pay tribute to these men, which was mounted on a stone and placed at the memorial site during the dedication ceremony held on May 23, 2004.
